Terms of Service
Effective date: May 31, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are entered into by and between you and Plush Haven Home Goods LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), the owner and operator of MathWiz.io.
By accessing or using MathWiz (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MathWiz is an AI-powered math tutoring tool that provides step-by-step solutions, learning insights, and explanations for mathematical problems. The Service is intended for educational purposes only.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
4. Free and Pro Plans
Free users receive a limited number of solutions as described on the pricing page. Pro subscribers receive unlimited solutions for a monthly fee. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis and are non-refundable except as described in Section 5.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
The refund policy that applies to your purchase depends on how your order was processed. Check your order confirmation email to determine which applies to you.
Purchases made directly through MathWiz
If your subscription was purchased directly on MathWiz.io and processed by our payment provider, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase by contacting us at help@mathwiz.io. After 7 days, charges are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Purchases processed by DigiStore24
Some MathWiz subscriptions are sold and processed by our authorized reseller, DigiStore24, which acts as the merchant of record for those purchases. If your order was processed by DigiStore24, the following applies:
- Refunds are available within 60 days of the purchase date, subject to DigiStore24’s then-current refund procedures.
- To request a refund, use the buyer support link in your order confirmation email or contact DigiStore24 support directly.
- After the applicable return period has expired, purchases are considered final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
- For recurring subscriptions, billing continues automatically until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle and does not retroactively refund charges already incurred outside the return period.
- You are responsible for managing your subscription through the account or cancellation method provided at checkout.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any third-party rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service
- Use automated tools to generate solutions at scale for resale or redistribution
- Circumvent usage limits or access controls
- Impersonate any person or entity
7. Academic Integrity
MathWiz is a learning aid, similar to a textbook solutions manual or private tutor. You are responsible for complying with your school’s academic integrity policies. Submitting AI-generated solutions as your own original work may violate your institution’s honor code. We are not liable for any disciplinary consequences arising from your use of the Service.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and software comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to MathWiz. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of any problems you submit but grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing the Service.
9. AI-Generated Content and Accuracy
MathWiz uses artificial intelligence to generate math solutions, explanations, and step-by-step guidance. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated solutions may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
- The Service is a learning aid and not a substitute for a qualified math instructor
- You should independently verify any solution before relying on it for academic, professional, or any other purpose
- MathWiz makes no guarantee that any solution is correct, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation
MathWiz expressly disclaims all responsibility for any loss, damage, academic consequence, or harm arising from your reliance on AI-generated content provided by the Service. Always verify results with a teacher, textbook, or other authoritative source before submitting work or making decisions based on the output of this Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated solutions will be mathematically correct or complete. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MathWiz and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Reliance on incorrect or incomplete AI-generated solutions
- Academic penalties or consequences resulting from use of the Service
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the content provided
- Loss of data, revenue, or other intangible losses
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
12. Fair Use Policy
MathWiz subscriptions are intended for individual, personal use by the account holder. To ensure consistent performance and availability for all users, your use of the Service must remain reasonable and within the spirit of the plan you have subscribed to.
The following behaviors are considered outside the bounds of fair use and may result in temporary rate limiting, throttled response speeds, account suspension, or termination at our sole discretion:
- Automated or scripted submission of problems in bulk
- Use of bots, scripts, or third-party tools to circumvent rate limits or usage controls
- Sharing account credentials to allow multiple individuals to use a single subscription
- Reselling, redistributing, or commercializing AI-generated solutions without written consent
- Any usage pattern that degrades Service performance or availability for other users
Pro subscribers who consistently generate unusually high request volumes may experience automatic response delays as a service quality measure. These delays do not constitute a breach of service and do not entitle the user to a refund.
We reserve the right to take any action necessary to maintain service quality for all users, including enforcing usage limits not explicitly stated in these terms, if a usage pattern is determined to be abusive or disproportionate.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
